Michael Goldstein fights for you as he fights for his patients and we have a country to save.

Dr. Michael Goldstein is a product of hard work. 

He had a blue collar beginning to work his way to becoming a Board Certified physician. From his teen years through medical school and residency, Michael has had the following jobs: 

· Gas Attendant 

· Camp Counselor 

· Bus Boy & Waiter

· New York City Taxi Driver

· Beer Truck Delivery Driver

· Night Watchman

· Lifeguard

These jobs prepared him to serve his patients by developing the listening skills and bedside manner that his patients have come to love. A majority of his patients are the backbone of this country as members of labor and healthcare unions.

Michael has been a physician for over 40 years. He has also served as the President of the New York County Medical Society for two terms and as the President of the SUNY Downstate Alumni Association. 

Later in life, Michael decided to become a lawyer and went to law school at Pace University at night. Michael is currently an elected official at the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting (city council). 

Michael is a Fighter. He is not afraid to work hard to get where he wants to go and now he wants to work for Connecticut residents in Washington, D.C.

Michael is the candidate of the People with a grassroots message and was successful in the 2024 Republican primary. He will not stopped fighting for you.

He has published articles in health law journals and is active in publishing articles and op-eds to advance the message of healthcare reform, freedom, and our Constitution.

Michael’s Medical Background and Service

Dr. Michael Goldstein has been a member of the Board of Directors of the New York County Medical Society for over a decade. He has served in a leadership capacity and was the President of the New York County Medical Society from 2015-2017. He is currently a Trustee of the society. He is a delegate of the New York County Medical Society to the House of Delegates of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the chairman of the Work Group for Collective Negotiations.  Michael has been active in the political activities of both the County and State Medical Societies. He has fostered collaboration between the County Medical Societies of New York City and during his presidency he improved the financial health of the organization. 

Dr. Goldstein has been an active member of the Board of Managers of the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine Alumni Association and its immediate past President. The organization is responsible for giving scholarships and grants to economically disadvantaged medical students to help ease their economic burdens and enhance their educational experience. During his presidency, he implemented innovative ways to enhance the fund raising and expanded the role of social media to achieve the goals of the organization. 

Michael is a Leader and will take those leadership skills to Congress.

Solving our country’s problems requires common sense and an informed Congress. As a physician, Michael will fight to shrink government, reduce healthcare costs and administrative burdens, protect our freedoms (individual, medical, parental), stand up to antisemitism and the woke agenda and always put America first. He believes that with the right leadership, Connecticut can recover from its decade long downturn. This requires a change in leadership and political philosophy to reform many industries.

Michael is also an attorney and will use those skills in D.C. to stand up against bad legislation, especially healthcare legislation. Government over regulation of healthcare is a significant factor in the high cost of healthcare in the United States.Lowering the cost of healthcare will reduce the economic burden on individuals and businesses, and will make it easier to expand coverage without the disastrous consequences of the Medicare for all proposals of the leading Democrats.

- He strongly believes in individual rights as opposed to a government-controlled society.

- He is opposed to Socialism and believes in an economy where innovation and growth is possible. 

- He is against the rampant Antisemitism, Anti-Israel and Anti-American Sentiment in this country.

Nutmeggers are done with politicians who say one thing and do nothing.  Michael does what he says he will do.

Our Constitution State also needs leadership that will defend our Constitution. 

Michael is here to go to D.C., heal the nation and get work done to help Americans, much like he has helped his patients.

Michael lives in Greenwich, CT, with his wife, Belle, and has two adult children.
